Fibroid causes a lot of pain in women when they start to reach certain sizes. It is important to note that people suffering from high blood pressure and that are taking medications for this condition, are more apt to get these kinds of problems. Also, since this condition is directly related to the hormonal system, taking contraceptives or any kind of birth control pills and being overweight do not help the condition at all.

Other factors that may be increasing the risks and fibroid causes can include having had Chlamydia or PID (pelvic inflammatory disease), infections from IUD, especially if it was not fitted properly or removed in time and to some extent the use of tampons that contain talcum powder rendering people for fibroid surgery.
