Uterine fibroids are tumours like growths that appear on women at different stages of their lives. However, the symptoms of these growths are not very common and there are many people that are totally unaware that they have any problems at all. The most common symptom of having fibroids is the inability to conceive, and this is only found when the patient consults a doctor for the purpose of infertility. These tumors will come up in a laparoscopy.
General fibroid symptoms
Between the ages of 30 and 50 many women develop tumors that are not cancerous in their uterus. These fibroids are very common and most people are not even aware that they have them and they come with the hormonal imbalances. However the symptoms of fibroids are not very specific and it is only when they start to grow in size and start to affect the lifestyle of the person that women are aware of their existence.
